Exceptional Ten-Shade Chandelier by Ercole Barovier for Ferro Toso Barovier (Barovier & Toso), Italy 1930s. The linear chandelier features ten fluted, scalloped shades in clear ribbed glass, supported by scrolling arms of twisted glass, set within a sophisticated brass structure. The interplay of textured glass and warm metal produces a soft, atmospheric illumination, characteristic of Barovier’s early work. An outstanding example of 20th Century Venetian glass design.
