'Mezzo Oracolo' Table Lamp designed by Gae Aulenti for Artemide, Italy, 1969. Conceived as the companion table version to Aulenti's celebrated Oracolo floor lamp, the Mezzo Oracolo is distinguished by its bold architectural composition and sculptural presence. A large opaline glass globe rests upon a cylindrical enamelled steel base, featuring a perforated mesh band that subtly reveals the internal light source, producing a warm, atmospheric glow. A classic example of 1960s Italian lighting design, and a highly collectible piece from Aulenti's celebrated body of work.
