“Sputnik” Chandelier produced by G.C.M.E., Italy, 1950s. The asymmetrical chandelier features eight radiating brass arms supporting white opaline glass shades. The sculptural frame has been meticulously restored and features enamelled elements in a soft ivory tone, beautifully contrasting with the brass fittings. A stylish example of Italian modernist lighting design.
