An exceptional Modernist Table Lamp, produced in Italy, c1950s. The lamp comprises a green-enamelled metal shade raised above a conical opaline glass diffuser, held within a framework of slender brass supports. The central body rises from a circular green-enamelled base with a polished brass foot and flared collar, while angular brass details decorate the upper gallery and finial. A distinctive example of post-war Italian lighting design.
